Avellanas

Playa Avellana is a popular surfing beach. Avellanas is a long stretch of white sand about 15 km south of Tamarindo by road , but closer to 10 km if you walk in along the beaches, about 5 km to the north of Playa Negra, north of Playa Junquillal. Watch for signs to Cabinas Las Olas.

Conchal

Playa Conchal is located in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica on the northern Pacific Coast, just minutes away form the touristic beach towns of Flamingo and Tamarindo.

Playa Negra

With some of the most consistent waves and surf breaks in the region, Playa Negra is a very popular surfer beach in the northwestern region of Guanacaste. Famous because the movie Endless Summer II being filmed here, this dark sand beach lies a bit further south of the lovely Playa Avellana and the surf at Playa Negra is a reef making it ideal for the novice as well as the expert surfer.

Tamarindo

With its pristine beaches, crystal clear blue waters, superb natural surroundings, and near perfect weather, it is no wonder that Tamarindo is among the most popular vacation destinations in Costa Rica.

Junquillal

The perfect escape, if you wish to avoid the humdrum and noise of the other beaches, Playa Junquillal is a short distance away from the village of Junquilla. This beach is great for a tranquil stroll alone or with your partner, as the sunsets here are quite spectacular.
